January 2004

I just want to take a quick minute here to thank God for everything he has done for me, and for all of his benefits that he has bestowed upon me this far. I am 24 years old, currently living out my 25th year, and I have been saved as long as I can remember, from my tenders years on up. When I look back and realize that God has carried me through virtually every stage of my accountable life thus far, I am amazed. I really cannot comprehend a life without God, and feel as Peter felt when he told Jesus: "To whom shall I go?" There is no salvation in any other! I can gladly say that I have no regrets for giving Jesus these many years of my life, and as my brother Mark says all the time, "my youth and vitality!" It has not been an easy road by any means, but my heavenly Father has been true to me through childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and up unto the present. Truly it has been a long and arduous 20-something years of salvation, and ever challenging courses lie ahead. In spite of the manifold obstacles that lie before me, even now, I can say with authority that I still love Jesus. I still wouldn't take nothing for my journey now! I chose him then, I choose him now, and by God's grace I will contine to choose him until the end!
Encouraged in Christ,
Marilyn
