It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the judgment.
And the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance to all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
2 Peter 3:9-10
The Lord is not slack toward his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Not everyone that saith unto me “Lord, Lord” shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will [of God].
Lift up your eyes to the heavesn, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell thereing shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
This world will end one day--but we can be certain that God's word is true and shall remain.
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
And, behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give unto every man according as his work shall be.
